When planning an event there are numerous things to consider. Location, food, speakers, decorations, flowers all have to be planned effectively for a successful event. For a select number of people music is a key ingredient. Live music performance provides a "special touch" that you do not see often in this world of readily accessible technology. Live music performance is for people who appreciate music and want their event to stand out and avoid the ordinary.

There are many choices available for live music including having a friend, amateur or student perform. These options will provide music however there are limitations on the quality. There are hundreds of people that have taken a couple of years of music lessons or are self taught that perform live. Many people choose these options thinking that they will be saving money and getting an equivalent performance. Some engage a music agency believing that they are avoiding amateurs and students however this is who agencies typically provide. It takes years of dedication to an instrument to perform at a high level.

Caroline is one of a select few professional harpists in Canada. In chamber ensemble Caroline has been invited to perform with some of the top classical musicians in Canada at many of the major festivals across the country. Caroline's full bio is available on this website. Caroline performs a select number of private engagements each year for those people that appreciate classical music performed at the highest level.

Caroline does not overcharge for her services. However if you are looking to shop for the best "deal" to provide some background music it is recommend to search for other options. In many cases these options will cost as much or more.

In addition to solo performances, she performs duos with flute, oboe, violin, cello or voice. A trio (flute, cello, harp) as well as harp with 2 or 3 strings or harp with string quartet are other available options.
